My Song, My Story

The Forget-me-not Chorus is a south Wales charity using music to bring happiness and respite to individuals and families affected by dementia. The My Song, My Story project was developed with writer Patrick Jones to give 120 Forget-me-not choristers a voice, and the opportunity to share a small part of their stories through one special song. Filled with humour, love, sadness and profound meaning, this book features some of those stories as poems, celebrating the intense emotional connection we have with music, and its power to entice memories to the surface.
