The greats of the club are all here – Smith, Reilly and the Baker Boy from the Famous Five era – alongside Turnbull’s Heroes, Stanton, Gordon, Cropley and O’Rourke. First published in 1995, the author has now updated the book to accommodate recent heroes who have won a special place in the hearts of Hibs fans and captured the imagination of football lovers all over. He describes how Frank Sauzee, Russell Latapy, John “Yogi” Hughes and manager Alex McLeish have all contributed to the Leith team’s new lease of life which has produced some of the finest football at Easter Road in over 20 years.
