Drunken old sea dog Billy Bones drops anchor at the Admiral Benbow, an inn run by Jim Hawkins’s mother and father. When Billy’s former shipmates Black Dog and Blind Pew track him down to the inn, Jim learns that they were once crewmen to notorious pirate Captain Flint. The newcomers aren’t interested in talking over old times on the high seas; it’s Flint’s treasure map in Billy’s possession they’re after.
