Reviews of Wake Up Do, Lydia Lou
This is a very appealing story and a delight to read out loud. The Book Bag Botboy seemed to really enjoy it and often asks for 'the ghost story'. Sackgirl likes to read it for him too, mimicking the various sound effects for the cat, cow, owl and others. Talk About Cheesecake Wake Up Do, Lydia Lou! is another lovely story which is very well written and beautifully illustrated and would make a perfect read for Monsters aged around the two to four years age mark. Monsters Fun House Wake Up Do Lydia Lou is a brilliantly written, easy read for children and great for getting them involved in bedtime reading. I would definitely recommend this as a book for young children learning to read and recognise words. Mummy and the Chunks Julia Donaldson can do now wrong in my eyes! I loved the drawings, and so did the toddlers, clear and bright also I think the messages is you've nothing to be scared of in the dark The Guardian
