Brought together by the Whatever Next? team, they will explore these key tropes and how the conversation is evolving, with the goal to start new dialogues around the experience adoption more broadly, and showcase how beneficial shared discussion can be.

Whatever Next? is a multi-media project started in January 2021 designed to spark a few conversations surrounding adoption. It was born out of conversations we found ourselves having again and again questioning what it was like growing up as a Chinese adoptee in the west. The three of us, Addie, Hannah and Jo met in Edinburgh in 2019 via Facebook group for Chinese adoptees and haven’t stopped talking since.
