Edwin Morgan
Edwin Morgan was born in 1920 and educated at the University of Glasgow. He became lecturer in English there and retired as titular Professor in 1980. His recent books include ‘Collected Poems'(1990), ‘Crossing the Border: Essays'(1990), and his translation into Scots of Rostand’s ‘Cyrano'(1992). ‘Sweeping Out the Dark’ appeared in 1994.
