Every Granpaw’s Cook Book
Bridget Wedderburn
Originally copied out from family sources in 1978 when Peter was 16 and went to Australia for a year, so that he could do his share of cooking, it was put into print when Joanna wanted a copy, and published in 1993. It was updated in 2006, and has now been modified to take account of the limited experience of grandfathers who have cooking thrust upon them. Measurements are now all metric, and oven temperatures shown as F/C/GasMark. Exciting new recipes to cook with grandchildren have been added.
Bridget Wedderburn
Bridget Wedderburn is a St Thomas trained Nightingale nurse, who could cook bacon and eggs when she got married. Four children and eight grandchildren later, she became a keen and creative cook. In 2004 she became ill, and has worked with her husband to produce a version that he can use.
