Showfolk: An Oral History of a Fairground Dynasty

The story of Frank Codona and his family – a fairground dynasty that has lasted in Scotland for over two hundred years. The book is structured around interviews with the current generations of the family, but progresses the story forward chronologically with tales ranging from visits to Glasgow Fair to finding fame as far afield as Hawaii. An appendix has the Codona family tree and there is also a glossary and a bibliography.
