The Woman with the Red Hair

Harry Frobisher returns, blinded and traumatised, from the carnage of the First Word War to his ancestral home on Bodmin Moor, seeking a reconciliation with his younger brother, William, after their parents were murdered. But another murder has occurred on the moors and there have been sightings of a ghostly woman with red hair, believed to be Morag Donaldson, a former secretary to Lord & Lady Frobisher who was convicted of their murders and committed to the local mental asylum. Inspector Edwards arrives from Scotland Yard to investigate the murder and harbours a deep and personal secret about Morag. Mrs Travers, the housekeeper, Harry’s former lover, knows that Morag didn’t commit the murders, and suspects that someone is trying to frame Morag. But before she can inform Inspector Edwards, Mrs Travers comes to face some chilling consequences. During a snow storm that cuts off Frobisher Hall, both Harry and Morag confront the murderer and their accomplice. Inspector Edwards makes a daring bid to trek through the snow to try and rescue them. But will they both survive and will they discover who really committed the murders?
