The Killer Cookbook
By (editor) Caro Ramsay
The Killer Cookbook is a gory, gritty collection of recipes from 38 of the world’s finest crime writers including Jeffery Deaver, Peter James, Val McDermid, Stuart MacBride, Mark Billingham, Peter James and Ian Rankin. It’s gruesome, it’s twisted, and it also contains the perfect recipe for Mushroom Soup. It’s the perfect present for the crime fan in your life, and all proceeds go to the Million for a Morgue fundraising campaign (www.millionforamorgue.com). Shortlisted at the World Cookbook Awards 2013.
Caro Ramsay is an osteopath and acupuncturist as well as a best selling crime writer. In her day job she has treated a wide variety of patients from world famous opera singers to gannets with personality disorders. She has held murderous thoughts since school, studying chemistry (how to poison people), physics (killing with a blunt object) and biology (how to tell when they are dead). To improve her dastardly activities she sat and passed her Diploma in Forensic Medical Science – this makes her even more scary.
