Scotland Street Press

Scotland Street Press publishes with a mission to concentrate on debut authors and, particularly, older women. They publish memoir, literary fiction, poetry and biography with special attention paid to quality in the editing, design and typography.

Scotland Street has won PEN awards for their books in translation, Tania Skarynkina’s Large Czeslaw Milosz with a Dash of Elvis Presley and Alhierd Bahrevich’s Alindarka’s Children with other publications shortlisted for various prizes including the Carnegie Medal.

In 2019 Scotland Street Press was a regional finalist in the British Book Awards Small Press of the Year.
